According to Yahoo, back in March the people at Dr. Pepper announced they would give out free sodas to everyone in America if Guns N’ Roses album “Chinese Democracy” is released before 2008. Guess what?

Looks like it’s gonna happen. According to GNR’s website, the album is scheduled to drop on 11/23/08. If this does indeed happen, gotta see it to believe it, Dr. Pepper will issue coupons for a free 20-ounce soda on Sunday at 12:01 a.m. for 24 hours via their website. The coupons are good until Feb. 28.

Great advertisement for Dr. Pepper! Wonder how much it’s gonna cost them? Well, at least they are getting the drink in people’s hands versus dropping a cool mil for a 30sec ad during a Superbowl. I say good for them if they can afford it.

Now, let’s hope the album does come out. Took them 14 years to make it since they started producing tracks for it in 1994. Let me reiterate. Gotta see it to believe it.
